School will be closed from 9th May 2013 for Students by the order of Honorable Collector Gwalior, due to extreme hot weather. School will reopen on 24th June 2013.

On 10th May 2013 Vidyalaya is going to conduct one day workshop for TGT (Hindi) on CCE in subject Hindi

Summer Vacation will be Started from 15th May 2013 to 23rd June 2013

Teachers and Students can download Split Up Syllabus from the RO Website www.kvsroagra.org

New Session is started from 1st April 2013

RESULT DAY :

26th March 2013 for Classes I To V

28th March 2013 for Classes VI To IX, XI

Draw of lots for RTE (SC + ST + OBC (NCL)) candidates on 20^th March 2013 as follows.

1^st Shift at 8 am.
2^nd Shift at 4 pm.

Parents of candidates are requested to witness the same.

Ms.Kiran Dhody, the Principal KV No.1 Gwalior has got "Teacher of the Year" Award from Gwalior Vikas Samiti in 35th Pratibha Samman Samaroh on 26th January' 2013 .

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 was established in the year 1965.It was founded under the auspices of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous organisation which functions under the umbrella of the ministry for Human Resources and Development.

The main aim is to provide excellence in education, through uniform syllabi, common text books and medium of instructions.

The School is affiliated to CBSE and the medium of instruction for Science and Maths in English and Hindi both.

The German language has introduced in this Vidyalaya in Class VI during the session 2011-12.
